Featured in this lot is this plantation owners swagger stick circa 1800-1860. he swagger stick shows a wonderfully and professionally crafted stacked leather construction that features a knotted head top with a brass core of the top of the swagger stick and tipped with brass at the bottom. The stick is highly flexible and was most likely used on workers for discipline. The condition of this swagger stick is good with wear towards the tip of the swagger stick but otherwise shows good condition for its age. The measurements of this swagger stick is 34 1/4" x 1" x 1".
