Featured in this lot is this semi-complete Pokemon Base Set 2 deck from the Original Series circa 2000. Base Set 2 was the fourth set of cards to be released, and is a compilation of different Pokémon and artworks from the Base Set and Jungle Set. The symbol for this set resembles a number 2 with a Pokéball in the center. There are 130 cards total in Base Set 2. It features classic Pokémon characters from the first generation, and the cards are highly valued for their nostalgic and collectible appeal. This set includes 93 cards total with14 holographic cards - Alakazam (1), Cansey (3), Charizard (4), Clefable (5), Clefairy (6), Magneton (9), Mewtwo (10), Nidoking (11), Nidoqueen (12), Pidgeot (14), Poliwrath (15), Venusaur (18), Wigglytuff (19) and Zapdos (20). The set is missing a total of 37 cards. The cards show good condition overall with little to no wear present. The cards measure 3 7/16" L x 2 1/2" W, while the card sleeves measure 11 1/4" L x 8 13/16" W.
