Featured in this lot we have a pair of porcelain enamel gasoline advertising signs. This pair of contemporary signs consists of a Frontier and Musgo advertising signs. The signs show porcelain enamel construction over thick gauge steel. The frontier sign shows a black silhouette of a cowboy on a rearing horse over a red and white background. The sign is marked in the front reading "Frontier Rarin'-To-Go Made In USA 1930" and shows four wall mounting holes. The Musgo features a Native American chief at the center on a white field with a yellow border. The yellow border is marked "Musgo Michigan's Mile Maker" in green lettering and the white interior is marked "Gasoline" in red lettering. The Indian Chief is shown in colors of brown, white, red, yellow, and some green". These modern signs show good condition overall with some rusting on the Frontier and some impact damage on the Musgo. The signs show a diameter of 11 3/4".
