For your consideration is this 1926 marked North and Judd Iron Spurs shown pre August Buermann. These spurs show the original early tooled leather spur straps and the makers mark on the base of the spur neck of the iconic North and Judd makers mark. Begun in 1832 as the North Company in New Britain, Connecticut, which made “saddlery hardware” and “tried to satisfy the needs of the rider”. The business grew quickly and was a supplier to the U.S. army during the Civil War and again during the Spanish-American war and even the first World War. The condition of this set of spurs is good with a nice patina adorning these spurs showing their age but in great overall usable condition. The measurements of this pair of spurs 3" x 4" x 9",
