Included in this lot is a pre-Columbian, Mayan clay effigy. This effigy shows a man sitting down holding a pot in his hand that is also balanced on his left leg. The man is wearing a small headpiece and a shawl. This piece shows a terracotta coloring on the headpiece, shawl, cuffs of his clothing, and around the top and bottom of the pot. This piece is in great condition for its age, only showing some chipping around the neck. This effigy measures 5" x 2 3/4" x 3".
