This is an outstanding authentic pre-historic Clovis point with a high grade of G9+ and book value of $3,000. The point is expertly constructed from a nice Flint material and is in excellent well-preserved museum quality condition. The point shows a wide Clovis shape with fine knapping. The spear point has a collection museum tag that reads, “181-SA10 4” Clovis Flint Point Hardin Co. Ky. Book Value $3,000.00” and “4 Inch Clovis G-9 Value 3000 Hardin Co. KY”. The point was collected from Hardin County in Kentucky. This 11,200 B.P. Range artifact is from the Kentucky Paleo Native American Indians and is an exceptionally fine large Clovis point showing wonderful detail and fine condition. The colors range from white and greys to reds and browns with a nice speckled or spotted matrix. Provenance: From a multi-generation artifact collection spanning 80-100 years from Las Cruzes, New Mexico. The point is in excellent condition and measures 4”L x 1.5”W. Riker case is 4.5” by 5.5” and 1” thick.
