Included in this lot we have a pre-historic Native American celt collection. The collection consists of 10 stone celts, 3 complete celts and 7 partial celts. Celts are a Native American tool made of a long thin stone attached to a wood handle and was likely used similar to a axe or a hoe. The celts where discovered in White County, Illinois. The collection is in good condition overall with a few pieces showing bits of red felt on the bottom where they had been attached to a display. The largest of the celts measures 6 3/4" long by 2 1/2" wide.
