Featured in this lot we have a primitive cobblers bench with a shoe anvil originating for the mid to late 19th century. The bench shows solid construction with a hand carved seat and legs. The shoe anvil is set into the third leg and secured with a metal band. The anvil is marked "DL Hall" on the underside of the piece. The piece is in good condition overall with some wear on the original wood finish and a coating of rust on the anvil. The bench measures 23 1/2" long by 7 1/4" wide and 23 1/2" tall.
