Featured in this lot we have a Prince Albert Tobacco advertising print showing Chief Joseph. The piece depicts Chief Joseph of the Nez Perce in a large headdress. The chief is shown in a green shirt with several small pelts hanging from the shirt and 12 fully beaded necklaces. The bottom of the painting shows a can of Prince Albert crimp cut with the top open. The piece is marked "Chief Joseph. Nez Perce Prince Albert the national joy smoke - R. F. Reynolds Tobacco Co.". The piece is set into a glint gold frame with ornate designs across the piece. The painting shows good condition overall. The frame measures 36" wide by 44" tall with the painting measuring 31 1/2" wide by 39 1/2" tall. This is a later edition print.
