Featured in this lot is this Pueblo Indian multi stone and multi strand beaded necklace. Kewa Pueblo, formerly known as Santo Domingo, is located on the Rio Grande and is particularly known for heishi necklaces, as well as a style of necklace consisting of tear-shaped, flat "tabs" strung on heishi shell or turquoise beads. The necklace features a wonderfully and professionally crafted multi stone and multi strand construction that features Carico Lake turquoise nuggets strung on the strands and shows multiple beads of amber, and inlaid mother of pearl bead, multi colored shells, discoidal wooden bead, silver beads, and heshi beads. The neckalce features a dangle decoration set into the center of the necklace. The condition of this necklace is good with no obvious signs of damage and in good overall condition.
