Included in this lot is a unique Pueblo shield featuring a painted on thunderbird, circa 1940. This shield used to be an old farm implement disk that was taken and made into a shield. The shield was painted yellow with black along the outside and red dots. In the center of the shield is a painted large thunderbird, showing colors of red, black, and yellow. The shield is in good condition for its age, showing some wear in the paint. There is a hole carved out in the middle of the shield. The shield measures 22 1/2".
