For your consideration is this limited edition, signed print titled, "End of Season - Grizzly" originally done by Robert Bateman in 1987. Robert Bateman (1930-) is a renowned Canadian naturalist painter known for his hyperrealistic wildlife art, which he developed after years of teaching geography and art and experimenting with different styles before becoming a full-time artist in 1976 to advocate for conservation, with works in major collections and significant global appeal, bridging fine art with accessibility through prints. This print is a limited edition and is numbered 1086 out of 7249. It shows a large grizzly bear wandering around the snowy banks of a river, looking for a last minute meal before lying down for hibernation. The piece is marked in the bottom left in pencil reading, "1086 / 7249" and marked in the bottom right hand corner in pencil reading, "Robert Bateman". The piece is set in a dark wood frame and sits behind glass to preserve its condition. It has been double matted with gray and beige matting paper. It shows good condition overall with little to no wear present to the print and little wear present to the frame. No major signs of damage is noted. The visible print measures 24 1/2" L x 32 1/4" W, while the entire piece measures 34 1/8" L x 41 5/8" W x 1 1/2" D. It has a total weight of 16 pounds and 14 ounces.
