Featured in this lot is a R. C. Gorman, framed Navajo Woman. Rupolph Carl Gorman (1931- 2005) was a Native American artist and sculptor known for his depictions of Native American women. His characteristic art style uses fluid forms and vibrant colors. This print depicts a Navajo Native American Woman sitting down and wrapped in an orange and teal striped blanket. The print is signed in the bottom left hand corner, reading "R. C. Gorman". The art is set in a large wooden frame with a nice southwestern design on the matting. The artwork and frame are in good condition with the frame showing a slight crack in the glass on the top right, but there are no other signs of damage. The artwork measures 21 3/4" L x 26 3/4" W. The entire piece measures 40" L x 52" W.
