Featured in this lot is a porcelain enamel, hand painted Italian cigar carousel with cherubs, originating from the early- to mid-1900's. The carousel features a metal construction with a polished brass exterior and porcelain designs. The porcelain enamel displays hand painted floral landscape designs with numerous cherub figures across the piece. The carousel displays six rotating doors, each decorated with a cherub figure and a brass cigar holder on the other side. The bottom of the music box shows a gear crank and is marked "gold Leaf Placc. ORo Made In Italy". The side of the piece is marked with a shield design and reads "E B R. Capodimonte Made in Italy". The piece shows good condition overall, with little to no wear. The piece measures 13 1/2" tall by 7" in diameter.
