Featured in this lot is this R.F. Rains bronze sculpture called "The Snubbin' Post." The bronze features a wonderfully and professionally crafted bronze construction featured on a hard wood shield. The bronze features a scene of a young horse hooked up to the snubbin' post getting the horse ready to be saddled. The bronze's shield shows a brass plaque that reads: The Sniubbin' Post by R.F. Rains; and is marked on the bronze by the saddle R.F. Rians. Ron Rains is a well known western Montana Artist or Sculptor and is displayed on the Montana Pro Rodeo Hall and Wall of Fame. The condition of this of this bronze sculpture is good with no obvious signs of damage and shows good overall condition. The measurements of this bronze sculpture are 13 1/2" x 17 1/2" x 6 1/4".
