Included in this lot is a R.H. Ruana skinner knife and leather scabbard made in the 1980's-1990's. Rudy Ruana began making custom knives in the 1930's. His business has been family owned from the beginning and is still in operation today in Bonner, Montana. Ruana knives are highly regarded and sought after by knife collectors and enthusiasts. The knife features a broad straight back blade design with a single cutting edge. The knife displays aluminum bolsters and pommel. The bolsters are stamped across the side, reading "R.H. Ruana Bonner Montana M". The grip displays deer antler scales. The knife comes with a custom leather sheath stamped with a medallion design showing a deer and crossed knives and marked "Ruana". The knife shows good condition overall and some light wear. The knife measures 10 3/4" long, with the blade being 6" long.
