Featured in this lot is this Railroad scenic route souvenir Albertype collection. There are a total of six Albertype booklets in this collection. The first is called Canon & Cloudland: The Famous Loop Trip published by The Williamson-Haffner Engraving Co. Engravers & Printers Denver with color prints by The United States Color Type Company out of Denver, Colorado. The next edition is called Gems of Colorado Scenery: Photographic Reproductions of the most prominent and magnificent scenes in the Rocky Mountains with an iconic photograph of summit of Pikes Peak. The next souvenir booklet is called The Shasta Route: Along the Southern Pacific-The Road of the Thousand Wonders and includes a lot of artwork surrounding Mount Shasta and Reservoir Lake. The next is called The Overland Trail From The Golden Gate to The Great Salt Lakes Along the Southern Pacific-The road of a Thousand Wonders and was copyrighted by H.H. Tammen. The next souvenir booklet is called Crest and Chasm of the Continent published by The Williamson-Haffner Engraving Company Engravers & Printers Denver with color prints by The United States Colortype Company Denver, Colorado. The last last booklet is called Rocky Mountain Views on the Rio Grande: The Scenic Line of the World consisting of Twenty-Four Quadri-colored engraved views from recent photographs compiled by Wm. H. Crane. The condition of this collection of Albertype souvenir booklets is preserved with some wear and creases to the outside covers and folds to the pages consistent with age and viewing. The measurements of these books ranges from 9 1/2" x 12" to 9 1/4" x 11 7/8". The collective weight of this collection of booklets is 4lb 8oz.
