Rose Singer is the wife of Tommy Singer; she continued making jewelry after her husband's death. T. Singer was a world famous Navajo silversmith and his distinct style of Indian jewelry is recognized the world over. Tommy was a silversmith for over 50 years. He learned the art of silversmithing from his father when he was just 7 years old. His father, Tsinnigine Hathali, was a Navajo Medicine man. Singer is thought to be one of the most important and greatest contemporary silversmith Indian artists and his work is highly sought after. This necklace displays a sterling silver construction with a hand tooled, flying eagle design across the front. The back of the pendant is marked "R Singer Sterling" across the bottom, showing a feather stamp next to the hallmark. The pendant is set on a twisted rope silver chain and shows good condition, overall. The necklace measures 17 1/2" long unclasped with the pendant measuring 2 3/4" long by 1 1/2" wide.
