Featured in this lot is an original work of art, hand carved wood Rainbow Trout sculpture by Wesley A. Tuttle, a Deer Lodge State Prison Montana Inmate. The piece is made of bass wood with a walnut base and shows exquisite craftsmanship and skill with excellent hand carved and hand painted accents. The piece is signed on the back WAT (his initials) and dated 1998. Wesley was convicted of murder and was moved to Utah Federal Penitentiary once he was found guilty of yet another murder via DNA. Very good condition over all with no signs of obvious damage. The measurements of this piece are 7 1/2" L x 9 1/2" W x 12" H.
