Featured in this lot we have a rainbow trout photograph from the Museum of the Rockies photo archive in 1900. The piece shows the image of J. A. Reid holding a large rainbow trout he caught in the West Gallatin River. The photo is marked across the front reading "Rainbow Trout. Caught by J. A Reid - in West Gallatin River wt 11 3/4 lbs - length 34 in". The photo is accompanied by a plaque reading "Rainbow Trout Caught by J. A. Reid West Gallatin River, Montana Circa 1900 Photographer Unknown Museum Of the Rockies Photo Archive". The print is set into a black frame with a white border. The piece shows good condition overall. The frame measures 24" wide by 31" tall with the photo measures 13" wide by 20" tall.
