Featured in this lot is this rare pair of wrought iron handcuffs, circa 1899 and collected from Silver City, New Mexico, where Billy the Kid was from, and presented here from the collection of Dick Rath. The handcuffs show a patent date of 1899 and are shown on the lock and feature a serial number of '49985'. The condition of this pair of handcuffs is good, with no obvious signs of damage for their age. The measurements of this pair of handcuffs are 10 1/8" x 2 3/4" x 5/8".
