Featured in this lot is this rare 1967 program of "Monterey International Pop Festival Annual" done by the Monterey International Pop Festival Incorporated, printed in the United States. The book is a program of the festival in 1967 and features 80 brightly colored pages of art, bands, people and brands and includes a "Where, Did, When, What" section at the front telling the reading about the festival. Other sections include: "The Making of the Festival", "Inside Pop", "Some Reflections in a God's Eye", "Monkee Tork - Peter's Thoughts", "Pop Music and the Philistines", and "Rock & Roll Music". The photos include prominent people of the time such as: Barry McGuire, The Beatles, Scott McKenzie, The Rolling Stones, Jimi Hendrix, The Beach Boys, Ravi Skankar, De Voss, Jax, Otis Redding, The Mamas & The Papas, Johnny Rivers, Simon and Garfunkel, The Who, Brian Wilson, Jefferson Airplane and Bob Dylan. The book shows good condition despite its vintage age, with some wear to the spine and front cover, but all interior pages are in good condition and the book shows no signs of obvious damage. The book measures 10 5/8" L x 8 3/8" W x 1/4" D and weighs approximately 8 ounces.*
