Featured in this lot we have a rare Belgium made single shot Flobert 6mm parlor target pistol originating from the 1860's-1870's. The pistol features 9" long octagonal barrel, dark stained hardwood stock, hammer system, steel trigger guard and grip cap. The stock shows a floral etching across the front and a fluted grip. The trigger guard and hammer display vine etchings. Flobert is known for its three main Flobert variants are described and illustrated in Single Shot Rifles And Actions by Frank De Haas. Many Floberts were made of very soft steel and designed to sell at the lowest possible price. This pistol is in fair condition with wear due to age and use with a tight action. No Serial Number. This firearm qualifies as an Antique, and does not require FFL Transfer or NICS Background Check.
