For your consideration in this lot is a Swedish style C. late 1800's small wooden harness collar for a dog or goat. This harness collar was hand made from wood. The two sides of the collar are lashed with leather and a metal "jingle bell" The collar has a diamond pattern carved in the wood. The collar was painted a light green. The bottom of the collar has a crude leather thong on one side and a "hook" carved into the wood on the other side to tie the two together. This thong still has hair attached to it. The bottom "hook" part of the wood broke at one time and was reattached with primitive nails. Each "arm" of the collar measures 16". This is a very rare item.
