This wonderful necklace is of rare Dutch "Auroras", drawn beads, that are seldom seen in such nice size anymore. These tube beads are 12-14mm in length and about 8mm in diameter. The color is classic for this type of bead and is a deep, dark turquoise. The beads are strung on cotton thread. Beads of this size and quality are highly prized by collectors. This necklace is in good condition. Provenance: letter of appraisal from Out-West Designs, L. W. Dinneen, dated May 2, 1999, with a value of $1200.
