Offered in this lot is a rare, U.S. Department of the Interior Indian Affairs- Forestry Indian Reservation Boundary, metal sign. This sign measures 18" X 7" It has raised lettering that is very readable but no paint remains on the sign. These signs were used to mark the boundary between public or private land, and Indian Reservation land. This sign is said to have come from the boundary of the Flathead Indian Reservation near Glacier National Park, This sign is very rare but its heavy grade metal has allowed it to last to be here today through decades of Montana weather, Please see images for accurate condition assessment.
