Featured in this lot is this rare unheated ruby and diamond, platinum ring with AIG and GIA paperwork. The ring shows an electronically tested ladies cast platinum ring construction with 'Orianne' and PT950 stamps on the underside of the ring. The ring features a pear cut, extremely rare, unheated ruby with measurements of 6.98mm x 5mm x 3.50mm, slightly included clarity, type II medium dark very slightly brownish transparent coloration, naturally occurring internal and external characteristics with no indication of heating, and a total weight of 1.01 carats. The center stone and pave shoulders are profusely decorated with 30 round brilliant cut diamonds with D - F coloration, VS-1 - SI-1 clarity, and measurements of 6.98mm x 5mm x 3.50mm. GIA (Gemological Institute of America) Ruby Grading Report#: 5181387063. The piece comes complete with AIG (American International Gemologists, a GIA certified lab AIG Appraisal Number#: 000716272211) report and appraisal, confirming the above info and giving a total value of $11,440.00. The ring size is US 6 1/2.
