Featured in this lot is this rare marquise 3.07 carat Tanzanite and diamond 18k white gold ring with IAS paperwork. he ring shows a stamped 18k white gold ladies custom ring band with a 'Orianne' stamp next to a 18k marking. The center stone is a wonderful rare natural marquise tanzanite stone set in prong setting and show a fine blue and purple coloration with a fine cut and clarity and a total weight of 3.07 carats. The center stone is profusely decorated with a marquise shape halo and pave decoration of a total of 35 natural round brilliant cut diamonds with a G - H coloration gradient and a VS clarity grade and shows a total weight of 0.66 carats. Tanzanite Is a very rare precious gemstone that is only found in the Usumburu Mountains that border the Umba Valley of northern Tanzania. Originally discovered in 1967 by Tiffany & Company who named the stone Tanzanite. This example is unique due to its exceptional pleochroism (an optical phenomenon in which a stone has different colors when observed at different angles). This ring is of the best quality available to the public. The piece comes complete with IAS(Independent Appraisal Services) a GIA certified lab IAS#: 37321EW) report and appraisal confirming the above info and giving a total value of $8,780.00. The ring size is US 7.
