Featured in this lot is this rare perforating drill point aged from Paleo to Historic period and aged from 14,000 - 100 B.P. The point features the tapering diamond shape blade cross section and shows a bi-facial flaking. The shoulders are sharp at the tip and rounded at the base in an ovoid design. The point is knapped from a brown flecked flint material. The condition of this drill point is good, with no obvious signs of damage. The measurements of this point are 2 1/4" x 1 1/8" x 1/4".
