The lot features an original Persian hand knotted silk and cotton rug with an early age and is in the pattern of a highly desired Hunt Pictorial medallion. The rug shows gorgeous earth tone colors, and shows a large, central medallion. Adorning the rug is numerous hunter scenes, displaying men on horseback, and on foot, bow hunting deer. Additionally, the rug shows a thick border, and floral motifs. Overall, the rug shows good condition. The piece measures 116" long, and 73" wide. The hunt rug was said to have an estimated value of over $4,000.
