The center stone and split set pave shoulders are decorated with natural round brilliant cut diamonds with a quality of G -H and a coloration of VS clarity and a total weight of 0.54 carats. Tanzanite is a very rare precious gemstone that is only found in the Usumburu Mountains that border the Umba Valley of northern Tanzania. It was originally discovered in 1967 by Tiffany & Company, who named the stone Tanzanite.
