For your consideration is this original Tweed & Rau Co. Chicago advertisement painting. The painting depicts a beer crate delivery where the wagon lost a barrel and some deer from the forest are checking the lost barrel out. The barrel has OFC written on it and is shown with the business advertisement in the bottom right hand corner where the artist signature should be. The painting is from the early 1900s, a Chicago city directory transcript shows the business Tweed & Rau Co. active in the year 1908 at two separate addresses. The condition of this painting is good with a frame that is fine albeit a little loose in places; but in overall good condition. The measurements of this painting are 51" x 39" and the visible are 47 1/2" x 37 1/4".
