Featured in this lot is this rare, unheated, 61.23 carats ruby and natural diamond platinum necklace with GIA paperwork. This platinum necklace features a cable link platinum chain and a lovely platinum pendant frame stamped 'Orianne' and 'PT950.' The pendant is profusely decorated with 99 round brilliant cut natural diamonds with lovely clarity. The diamonds decorate the pendant on the chain loop and in a halo design around the Ruby double cabochon. The Ruby is an oval shape, double cabochon with a semi-translucent to opaque transparency and a purple-red color scale. The species of the stone is natural corundum and it is considered a natural star ruby with no indication of heating. The ruby is 61.23 carats and measures 22.16 x 18.45 x 13.54 mm.
