Featured in this lot is this rare unheated ruby and diamond 18k ring with GGA and GIA paperwork. The ring features a wonderfully and professionally crafted 18k white gold construction that shows a a 'Oscar Friedman' hallmark and '18k' gold stamp next to the hallmark. The center stone is an oval brilliant , faceted cut natural ruby that shows measurements of 8.18 x 5.92 x 2.29mm and is considered type 2 clarity with purplish red with excellent symmetry and a total weight of 1.08 carats. The center stone is decorated with pave set shoulders and a double halo ring of a total of 38 round brilliant cut diamonds with measurements of 2.3 x 1.8mm and shows an average clarity of VS2 - SI1 and a coloration of F - G and a total weight of 1.45 carats. The piece comes complete with GGA(GemAssure Gemological Appraisals, GGA Appraisal Number#: GGA050492 and trace number: K28E98) report and appraisal confirming the above info and giving a total value of $10,240.00. GIA (Gemological Instiute of America) Ruby Grading Report#: 2225133170. The ring size is US 7.
