For your consideration is an original WW2 Pilots Navigation Kit Air Corps US Army. This brown pebble leather exterior and canvas interior, briefcase has pockets inside for charts, maps, compass and all different navigation tools. It is marked "Made In USA" on the zipper talon. The gold stamp lettering reads, "Pilots Navigation Kit Air Corps United States Army". Inside is an identification card reading with name, "Paul Roberts Montrose, 1st Lt. AC" with other identification information. The leather is worn, and one zipper seam has detached towards the top of the briefcase, and the leather has cracked at this seam. The heavy duty solid brass zipper is in excellent working condition and all the pockets are in good condition, and a rare find. This measures approximately 16 ½” x 12” x 3 ½.”
