Featured in this lot is this watercolor "Prairie Home and Grain Tower," by Montana raised artist Ray Hunter. The watercolor features an old prairie home with a grain shaft attached to the barn and features a tree line in the distance and the open plains in the distance on the other side of the house. Ray was born and raised in Montana. He lived in the Pacific Northwest for many years where he started his professional art career. Ray moved to Santa Barbara in 1997. He is known for his wonderful textural watercolors which capture the essence of each subject he paints. His work has captured the eye and the heart of his collectors and we are proud to present his latest collection of new paintings. Ray is a Signature Member of California Watercolor Association, American Society of Marine Artists, Artist Member of California Art Club.
