Included in this lot is a stunning, signed Navajo Native American, Ray Yazzie sterling silver and Sleeping Beauty turquoise pendant on a liquid silver chain necklace. Raymond Yazzie was born in Vanderwagen, New Mexico in 1959 to Navajo parents, who were both silversmiths. Raymond has won many awards for jewelry and has exhibited his work at the Museum of Northern Arizona in Flagstaff, Heard Museum in Phoenix, and the American Craft Museum in New York. This necklace features a 30 strand liquid silver chain with a large pendant. The pendant features a large sleeping beauty turquoise cabochon set in a shadowbox design. Surrounding the cabochon are sterling beads and floral and southwest designs. The back of the pendant is marked "Ray Yazz Sterling" for silversmith Raymond Yazzie. The necklace is in good condition, showing no cracks or chips. The chain measures 24" unclasped. The pendant measures 3 1/2" by 2 1/4".
