For your consideration is this African Red Hartebeest professional taxidermy hide. The hartebeest is a large African antelope that is a member of the Alcelaphus genus. Most of eastern and southern Africa's savannah and grassland habitats are home to it. With a long face, sloping back, and short, sharp horns that curve backward, the hartebeest has a distinctive appearance. The red hartebeest, the Lichtenstein's hartebeest, and the Coke's hartebeest are among the various subspecies of the hartebeest. Since they are typically social creatures, the herds can reach sizes up to 300. Hartebeests are grazers who primarily eat grass and other vegetation, and are known for their stamina and speed, which they utilize to avoid predators like lions, cheetahs, and hyenas. The red hartebeest is closely related to the Tsessebe and the Topi. The hide shows a wonderfully and professionally crafted taxidermy that features a soft tanned quality and shows colors of black, red/brown, and white. The condition of this Red Hartebeest hide is good with no obvious signs of damage and shows good overall condition. The measurements of this Red Hartebeest hide is 66 1/2" L x 49 1/2" W.
