The rifle displays a 35" long round barrel, rolling block action, blade front sight, adjustable rear sight, and walnut grip and stock. The rifle is marked on the top of the grip "REMINGTON ILION N.Y. U.S.A. PAT MAY 3D, NOV 15th 1864, APRIL 17th, 1866". The rifle displays light pitting across the barrel and wear on the wood due to age. The action shows good mechanical condition with a tight lock and snappy trigger and is missing its ram rod. Serial Number: NSN.
