Featured in this lot we have a Remington New Model Army revolver chambered in .36 caliber. The revolver displays a wonderful blue'd patina with a 4 1/2" long octagonal barrel, five shot smooth cylinder, brass trigger guard, and walnut grips. The top of the barrel is marked with appropriate markings reading "PATENTED SEPT. 14. 1858 E. REMINGTON & SONS ILION NEW YORK U.S.A". The revolver mechanically shows good working condition with a tight trigger and some slight over rotation on the cylinder cocking the hammer past prime. The piece shows good condition overall with some light wear across the finish due to use and age. The revolver weighs 1lb 4oz. Serial Number: 12648. This firearm qualifies as an Antique, and does not require FFL Transfer or NICS Background Check.
