Featured in this lot we have a Winchester Number 1 rolling block sporting rifle receiver. The receiver displays a worn nickel plated finish, rolling block action, working trigger and hammer. The top of the receiver tang is marked in faded lettering "NT. M TON N.Y. U.S.A. 1864 April 1799". The frame shows good condition with some pitting and wear across the exterior. The receiver comes with replacement trigger springs and threaded screws. The piece shows good condition overall with some wear due to age. The receiver measures 9" long by 1 1/4" wide.
