Featured in this lot is this Remington Sitting Bull and Properts bronze buckle collection. The bronze buckles feature a wonderfully and professionally crafted bronze and leather construction. There are two buckles in this collection the first is a Fredrick Remington bronze buckle of Chief Sitting Bull and reads as follows: Sitting Bull - Chief - Of The Sioux. The back is marked as follows: A Gift From W. Jalbody - "Buffalo Bill". The second buckle is a Propert's buckle with a horse and rider jumping over a hurdle and reads as follows: Propert's - Leather and Saddle Soap - Specially Prepared. The back of the buckle reads as follows: Manufactured by - J. Purdy - Oxford St. London England. The condition of this collection of antique buckles is good with some slight brightening to the bronze and a patina consistent with age but otherwise shows good overall condition. The measurements of this collection of bronze buckles are 3" x 3" x 3/4" and 3 3/8" x 3 3/4". The collective weight of this buckle collection is 14oz.
