Featured in this lot is this collectors box of Remington-UMC .32-40 Smokeless for Marlin cartridges. The box of cartridges shows its original packaging and label and shows a total of 18rds. The information top of the cartridge box reads as follows: 32-40 Smokeless - 20 Central Fire Cartridges - Remington Arms-Union Metallic Cartridge Co. - Ammunition & Firearms - Union Metallic Cartridge Works Bridgeport, Conn., U.S.A. The illustrated face side of the box show sa picture of the cartridge and reads as follows: For Winchester, Marlin and Savage Rifles - UMC - U.M.C. .32-40 Winchester Marlin & Savage Soft Point - Remington - 165 GRS. Soft Point Bullet. The condition of this box of cartridges is preserved with some wear to the original box and label and is missing two rounds but otherwise shows a preserved overall condition. The measurements of this box of cartridges is 2 3/4" x 5" x 1 1/8". The collective weight of this box of ammunition is 12oz.
