The lot features an original metal painted sign from the Ringsby Trucking and Freight company dating to the 1950’s. Ringsby Freight was a shipping company that operated a fleet of large trucks in the early to mid-20th century. The sign is from the early history of the company before it merged with United Buckingham in the late 1960's. The sign was on display at the Helena, Montana Ringsby stop in the 1950’s. Ringsby Truck Lines was founded by J.W. Ringsby the former owner of the Denver Nuggets NBA basketball team. He started the business with one truck and at the time of his death in 1981 the fleet had over 6,000 trucks. The sign shows good condition overall with some scuffs and wear across the face of the sign. The piece measures 18" tall by 72" wide.
