In this lot we have a fly that was made famous by "Through River Runs Through it." This Bunyan fly has a base color of yellow with black strips to make it look like a bee. The wings are made out of white horse hair along with a rubber band attached to the side. The hook on this Bunyan fly is on the bottom of the fly where a bee's stinger would go. The body of the Bunyan bug is made out of wood. This fly was made famous by fly-tying pioneer Norman "Paul Bunyan" The Bunyan fly is considered one of fly fishing's iconic flies.
