Featured in this lot is a masterworks giclee on canvas called "The Wake Up Call" from Oregon artist, Rob Frederick. The artwork features a wonderfully and professionally crafted masterworks giclee on canvas. The scene shows a herd of elk by a creek in the early morning with snow capped mountains in the background, and all of the elk are grazing just before the treeline. The artist's signature can be seen in the bottom right hand corner and is numbered 14/75. As famous for his paintings as he is for his sense of humor and colorful shirts, artist Rod Frederick paints a world that is full of wide vistas, soaring trees, sky-scraping mountains as the backdrop for his spectacular wildlife. Today, Frederick's career is mostly focused on creating wildlife art. Interestingly, Rod Frederick attended Willamette University, majoring in art and minoring in biology. The overall condition of this masterworks giclee canvas edition is good with no obvious signs of damage. This is an un-stretched giclee on canvas and is sold without a frame.
