Featured in this lot framed acrylic on board painting of "a snowy tree line" by Seattle artist Robert E. Krieg born in 1948 and died in 2012. The artwork features a wonderfully and professionally crafted acrylic on board construction that shows a snowy scene of a broken down perimeter fence with a glade of pine or evergreen trees beyond the sagebrush with a clear blue sky ahead and a hillside just visible through the trees. The artist signature can be seen in the bottom right hand corner and a tag from Magnolia Fine Arts shown on the back of the framed artwork. Robert E. Krieg (1948-2012) lived in Seattle with his wide and daughter. He has been painting for over twenty years and his works hand in private collections throughout the country. He was elected to membership in the Society of Animal Artists in 1980 and, as a member, shares company with some of the best painters and sculptors in the world. Bob enjoys painting on location "en plein aire" because it allows him to respond emotionally to the colors and design on the spot rather than from his memory. In 1998 Bob and his wife purchased Magnolia Fine Arts, a custom picture framing/ art gallery.
