In this lot is a Robert Wesley Amick print of “Where the Sun Goes". The print shows a brave and his two sons on a bluff overlooking a river, watching the sunset. Robert Wesley Amick (1879-1969) was an American painter, illustrator, and teacher who specialized in romantic paintings of the early western history of the United States. He is perhaps best known for twelve paintings of the American West (including "Where the Sun Goes") that were widely reproduced in art prints for use in American schools. The print is in good condition, with very slight wear to the frame. The frame measures 21 1/2" X 33 1/2".
