Featured in this lot is this framed Robert Wood (1889-1979) print titled, "Dawn", originally painted in the 1920s. Robert William Wood (1889-1979) was an American landscape painter. He was born in England, emigrated to the United States and rose to prominence in the 1950s with the sales of millions of his color reproductions. This print shows a woman standing on the shore of a lake holding her arms out to the open. The background shows a beautiful nature scene with a waterfall flowing into a large lake as towering mountains take up the rest of the scene. No signatures are present. It is set in a wood frame and sits behind glass to preserve its condition. The wood frame shows wear from its age and use over the years. The visible print measures 9 1/2" L x 17 1/2" W, while the entire piece measures 11 1/2" L x 19 1/2" W x 1" D. It weighs 2 pounds and 4 ounces.
