For your consideration in this lot are two Roseville 1940's era pottery pieces. The first is a beautiful piece of Roseville pottery in the White Rose pattern, which was introduced in 1940. This small vase has a blue background. This vase has white roses and green leaves on each side and a notched top rim. This color and pattern are highly collectable. This vase is in good condition. There are no obvious signs of damage. The bottom is numbered 978-4 and is marked “Roseville U.S.A.” in raised letters. This vase is 4 ½” tall and 3 1/2" across. The second item is a winged handle bowl with Thorn Apple Rose on both sides. The bowl measures 4 ½" tall and 6" across. The bowl features a blue background with a green, yellow, and white Thorn Apple flower on each side.
